New Jersey Employment Data

Located in the BLS New York-New Jersey region, the Garden State is known for tourism in Atlantic City and Jersey Shore, proximity to New York City, shipping ports, and major pharmaceutical firms. Despite a much slower recovery from the recession relative to other states, New Jersey has recently shown evidence the labor market and residential construction is gaining momentum. On the downside, deeply troubled state finances continue to limit New Jersey’s economic growth. (Source: Wells Fargo Securities, LLC)
