Located in the southeastern region of the United States, Georgia stakes claim to the busiest airport in the world: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, Georgia’s largest city, is also the largest contributor to the state’s economy.

The latest employment scorecard for the State of Georgia for August 2016 to August 2017 is listed below, based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Georgia’s labor force grew at a healthy 2.32 percent year over year pace.
