Located in the southeastern region of the United States, Georgia stakes claim to the busiest airport in the world: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, Georgia’s largest city, is also the largest contributor to the state’s economy.

Georgia’s labor force grew at a healthy 2.32 percent year over year pace. Georgia’s unemployment rate fell to 4.7 percent, and its labor force increased 0.6 percent to a good 63.1 percent.
